Abstract

This is a case study of the Mis Jindal Saw Ltd. iron ore mine, which is located near Dhedwas hamlet in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. The purpose of this study is to assess the blasting nuisances connected with mining activities. One monitoring location in the mine was chosen. During the field examination, sixteen trial explosions were carried out at several mine blocks (Tiranga block) with variable designs and charge patterns. Several factors impact the blast vibration and flyrock produced by blasting operations, including blast pattern. Drilling pattern, quality and quantity of explosives used, delay pattern, etc.
