This literature review explores the current state of AI applications in healthcare, including medical imaging, electronic health records (EHRs), drug discovery, and personalized medicine. We examine recent advancements, key benefits, and significant challenges such as data quality, model interpretability, and integration into clinical practice. Additionally, we discuss future research directions to enhance the effectiveness and adoption of AI in healthcare. This review highlights AI's potential to revolutionize healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.
