Abstract

The project “AI-Based Digital Solution for Temple Pilgrimage Crowd Management” is developed to provide a smart and efficient solution for managing large crowds in temple pilgrimage centers. Temples often experience heavy crowd congestion during festivals, holidays, and special religious occasions, making crowd control difficult through traditional manual methods. Poor crowd management can lead to overcrowding, long waiting times, confusion, safety risks, and emergency situations such as stampedes and accidents. The proposed system uses modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, CCTV surveillance, and predictive analytics to monitor and manage crowd movement effectively. The system continuously collects real-time crowd data through cameras, sensors, and smart monitoring devices installed at different locations inside temple premises. AI algorithms analyze the collected data to identify overcrowded areas, monitor crowd density, predict rush timings, and provide real-time alerts to authorities. The project also includes smart queue management and emergency notification systems to improve pilgrim convenience and safety. Pilgrims can receive information regarding waiting time, crowd conditions, and safe movement routes through mobile applications and digital display systems. The system helps temple authorities make quick decisions during emergencies and ensures smooth movement of devotees inside temple premises. The proposed solution reduces manual effort, improves operational efficiency, minimizes congestion, and enhances the overall pilgrimage experience. By integrating advanced digital technologies into a single platform, the project provides a reliable, automated, and intelligent crowd management system for temple pilgrimage centers.
