JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY
Publication ethics
Responsibilities shared by authors, reviewers and editors.
Research misconduct
Authors must not fabricate data, falsify findings, manipulate images misleadingly, plagiarize or misrepresent the research record. Editors may request source data, original images, approvals and an explanation when a concern arises.
Authorship and competing interests
List only contributors who meet the responsibilities of authorship. All authors should approve the submitted version and accept responsibility for the work. Disclose financial and non-financial interests that could affect interpretation; identify funding and the funder’s role.
Ethical oversight
Research involving people, identifiable data, animals or other regulated activity must meet applicable ethical and institutional requirements. State the approving body and approval identifier where relevant, explain any exemption and document informed consent as appropriate.
Fair review and editorial independence
Use confidential double-blind review, manage conflicts and assess evidence fairly. Review recommendations and decisions must not be traded for payment, favourable citations or other benefits.
Concerns, investigation and response
Send concerns to [email protected] with the article or manuscript identifier and supporting evidence. The editor considers the information, seeks responses where appropriate and may involve relevant institutions. Confidential information is handled with care and allegations are not treated as proven findings.
Correcting the record
When an error affects the publication record, the response may include a correction, expression of concern or retraction, depending on the evidence and seriousness. Notices should explain the reason and maintain links to the affected article.
